I was just chatting with a friend of mine who is considering making a $10,000 investment in her new business, and as we’re talking, she’s got tears in her eyes. It reminded me of when I started investing in my business and how scared out of my mind I was.
So as I’m supporting my friend through this decision, here’s what I tell her-
I’ve never been a 100% hell yes to any coach I’ve hired or anything I’ve invested in.
You might be surprised to hear that, but hear me out for a second…. Here’s what’s true about what comes up for me whenever I’m about to make a big choice to up-level something in my life or business….
Saying yes to big things can be super triggering and bring stuff up!
I wanted to share this because I can see how easy it can be to go into judgement, or think something is “wrong” when we aren’t a hell yes to something we really think we *should* want….
I can only speak from my own experience, but I just think it’s so important to share it because you might also be experiencing anxiety about a decision you are making, and I want you to know that you’re not alone, and I also want to encourage you and let you know that just because you are feeling unsettled, it doesn’t mean it’s the wrong decision.
Those coaches I hired, that I didn’t feel 100% about because of MY fear? They changed my life. I bow to them. I cry when I see them and think about how grateful I am.
So I’m curious for you, do you see any value in going for something even when it’s not a hell yes? I’d love to hear. You can leave a comment below.
