Greetings from Downtown San Diego! I’m sending a quick note from my hotel room so this will be fast– excuse any typos please!
I’m here for a conference for internet marketers and having a BLAST running into friends I’ve met all over the world who all have online businesses. I feel like I’m a part of some secret society of luxurious laptop lifestylers and it’s awesome.
Whenever I’m at an event like this, I can’t help but reflect on my path. How even a year ago I couldn’t have fathomed I could “hang” with a group like this.
I remember the first time I ever went to an entrepreneur’s conference– I felt SO insecure, honestly had no idea what to tell people I did (actually I told people I was an intuitive coach which is kind of hilarious actually– I never once got a client to hire me for that because it really wasn’t in alignment with my gifts!)
I look back at Emily from 3 years ago and I don’t recognize myself. I had no confidence, no clients, and no clue what I was doing.
Fast forward to now, less than 3 years in, and somehow I’ve created a business that is actually working! I can’t even say it’s the business “of my dreams” because I never allowed myself to dream this big until now.
I never thought it would feel “normal” to do over $100,000 in sales in a month (two months in a row!)
I never thought it would feel “normal” to drop $1,000 on a hotel for just 3 days.
I never thought it would feel “normal” to spend $60 on fresh juice to keep in my hotel room so I feel healthy when I don’t have a kitchen.
The only reason any of this has become possible for me, is because I finally made a choice to STOP PLAYING SMALL.
Do you think you’ve been playing small?
If you were to connect with the deepest and most powerful place in yourself, can you feel that inner knowing that YES, you can have this, too? That you were actually given the gifts you have so that you can share them with the world and live a comfortable life doing it?
Right now, you’re keeping people from getting the transformation you provide, because you don’t have the skills to back up your god given gifts.
Let me explain what I mean… let’s say you’re a love coach…. you are keeping people stuck and single while you spin your wheels in business not knowing how to get clients. All those single men and women NEED YOU, but you’re in hiding….
If you’re a health coach, you are keeping people overweight and feeling awful, because you haven’t figured out how to bring your teachings out into the world in a meaningful way. This has nothing to do with you being a good coach or not, it actually has to do with you not having the right plan in front of you (you know, what the heck to do every day!)
There’s a missing piece, and it’s a blend of the mindset and the practical– it’s the step by step, PLUS knowing how to get through your fear and build your confidence.
Time is running out. My program is almost sold out, and this week is the ABSOLUTE last time that you’ll be able to join. Once I close the doors, it’s closed for a year.
You have a choice— keep playing small and keeping your gift trapped inside you, or take the leap that scares you shitless, but allows you to finally see what you’re made of– that helps the clients who are right now praying for you get the transformation you provide.
I’m at a conference, so my schedule is extremely limited. I’m only making a few spaces available to speak with me. I was on a run this morning and I started to cry, thinking about the final few people who will step up this year. I have never taken my work lightly– I believe that with the right tools, you CAN change your life, but you have to step up and you have to want it BADLY.
So I’m extending my hand to you……
Do you want things to change, or do you want them to stay the same?

Also there’s something I need to address…..I can’t tell you how many people have told me they don’t have the money to hire me. I know where you’re coming from, but it’s not logical. If you learned how to make money on demand, would you not be willing to pay almost anything for that?! If you say no, then you need to check yourself, because you’re not understanding the power of investing in yourself and the long term return on investment… You need to start thinking like a RICH person, not a BROKE person. Do you know what I mean? (If not, hit “reply” and I can explain better…)
Listen….. saying you don’t have the money is an excuse and it’s about a lack of commitment, not a lack of money. If this is something you want, I am absolutely certain you’ll find a way. Be creative. Ask for help. Do something you’ve never done before to get something you’ve never had. Take a risk.
Do you think Sandra thought she had the money when she joined my program last year? NO! She didn’t, and she said no several times saying she couldn’t afford it. Now she’s working a plan with me as one of my elite private clients that will bring in well over $100,000 this year.
Do you think Marli thought she had the money to work with me this year? No! She didn’t! She said no to me at least 3 times because of money and guess what?! She made $10,500 in January!!!! She’s already in profit mode less than 2 months into my program.
Nothing amazing ever happens in our comfort zones. You with me here? Staying safe keeps you playing small– it’s up to you.
