I’m on a plane on my way to Bali for the 3rd time- whoop! I’m going going, back back, to Bali Bali.

I thought it might be a good time to share some of the tricks+tools I use when I travel to keep my business running.

When I first started traveling internationally with my business, I used to make the craziest 24 hour charts that I would write out by hand, and highlight the overlapping “awake” hours between me and my clients. Thank god one of my clients set me straight and told me about worldtimebuddy.com— this is one of the coolest resources ever because you can put in whatever city you’re going to be in, as well as the cities where your clients are. This is way better than writing the whole darn thing out by hand 🙂 I then use my online scheduler, schedule once, to set up my availability and send the link out to my clients.

The other app that I swear by is called Spaxtel. I used to use Skype for client calls, and still do sometimes, but I found that the sound wasn’t always that great, and that relying on wifi can be pretty tricky.

I’m not a super techy person, but the way I can explain Spaxtel is that it actually routes the calls through a local cell number (this means you have to get a local sim card in your unlocked phone).

The sound has been GREAT using this app and it’s almost always a super clear connection.

Hope this helps!
