Today I want to talk about RESISTANCE. And I’ll be asking for you to be super honest with yourself….so read on.
THIS is the #1 thing holding you back in your business.
It can show up as:
– Distracting yourself from doing the REAL work you need to do and fiddling with things like your logo or website
– Not actually telling anyone what you do (and yet wondering why you don’t have clients)
– Obsessing over being “in alignment” with every freaking detail of what you are doing, leaving you in paralysis
– Waiting for things to be perfect before you take action
– Saying, “Once I do _________, THEN I’ll be able to do ________.”
– Deciding not to invest in mentoring or support, saying that once you have the money you’ll hire someone (you do get the irony, right?!)
– Saying you just want your business to grow organically (sorry babe, but even vegetables don’t grow organically without love, care, attention, watering, and actually providing them with the right resources of water, sun, and fertile soil)
– Posting lots of inspiring quotation photos on instagram and Facebook thinking that somehow your little photo is going to get someone to hire you
So let’s do a little self-honesty check in today, shall we?
Where are you staying stuck in your biz and not taking action? It may be one of the things I mentioned above, or it could be something else. My guess is that you DO know what it is, you just may not be willing to face it yet.
